Most contracts are 30 hours but you can do more or less. Some shifts can be very long and some can be as little as 4 hours. Longest shift you should do is 10 hours. Rotas vary week to week but it all should work out to your contracted hours. Only exception is christmas month.

Awfull..you start at 6 am. ..and then you finish whenever you are told you will finish. . No work life balance. .If you are a single 20 year old still living with mum n dad great.. If you are older/married /have kids...its a no no as I discovered
