Give store assistants more hours. My husband is contracted for 20 hours and usually gets about 23 hours which is not enough. He is going to have to leave to get a full time job soon.

To give staff mixed shift patterns and not make them work over a month on just lates especially when they have small children and a family to consider

Speak to all staff with respect regardless of wether they areally in your "click"or not,and do not talk about other staff in a derogatory way in front of or too other store assistants.

Treat people properly and you will get a lot more out of them eg respect and if you treat them right they will help you as much as they humanly can

From what I have read stop being greedy and focus on axle where the wheel spins.
Staff training, discounts and longer breaks would give the store a better reputation and establish a stronger more loyal team. You can't flog a dead horse!

Treat staff as you would like to be treated yourself or your family treated.

Have 2 x 30min minute breaks instead of just 1, selector order picking is intense and very hard on the body 1 x 30min break is not enough to recover and feel human. 1 break every 3 hours is good.
