Listen more to your staff who have been around for a long time. These are the employees who are faster, more efficient and know the job the most. Stop trying to replace them with new recruits who are £1 per hour cheaper.
Management were absolutely vile, inadequate training, rubbish pay and just worked to the bone. They want you doing 4 jobs at one time. There's absolutely no communication
The interview process is very easy, Aldi is looking for committed, hard working and reliable people. Great place to work.
My experience with aldi was mixed, had the first of four interview stages in November, the store selected to hold the group interview was a 60 mile round trip, the interview was done within 10 minutes having started 15 minutes late, no feed back or email for approx 3 weeks then invited for the one to one interview but as I was working I had to ask for a different date, again no response then three weeks later new date given, area manager had “car trouble” so interviewed by store manager, four weeks later asked to go the the aldi experience.. all together took over 4 months and didn’t get the job which by this point was not a problem but again no information as to why which would have been helpful and having attended four rounds would have shown It wasn’t all in vain, it made me question how the company communicates with staff in general
