Short answer, yes. You get paid as long as you clock in and out. Pay is worked out on a smart time machine or on the computer. If you're working, you stay clocked in. You will get paid.

Most contracts are 30 hours but you can do more or less. Some shifts can be very long and some can be as little as 4 hours. Longest shift you should do is 10 hours. Rotas vary week to week but it all should work out to your contracted hours. Only exception is christmas month.
