Associate Specialist General surgery (Current Employee) – Keighley – 19 May 2012
Clinical work is not overwhelming. Rural setting and good social and educational links for family. Ethical work culture but can sometimes be a bit pushy. Study budget has diminished considerably. Fair opportunity to teach medical students and junior doctors.
I have worked at the trust for almost 3 years now and can honestly say that I never worked anywhere better. I have worked in two other local hospitals previous to this one so I have something to compare to. The staff are very friendly and encouraging and it has a homely feel. I have been given opportunities to further my career within my department and funding for training is always available. Management are fair and approachable. Employee Health and Wellbeing are always on hand to help with any problems you may have with work/home life.
Contracts Officer (Current Employee) – Procurement and Supplies – 12 August 2017
Having worked at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust since leaving school, I would definitely recommend it as a place to work. Working for the NHS gives a very rewarding feeling and there is so much available for you to learn.
