Achieve together is one of the UK’s leading providers of support for people with learning disabilities, autism and associated complex needs.
We are dedicated to empowering individuals, enabling them to develop skills for life and healthy relationships, as well as supporting them to boost their confidence and self-esteem.
Our organisation, established in 2018, is built on the legacy of two long-standing and well-respected specialist support providers with over 25 years of expertise, Care Management Group (CMG) and Regard.
Regard was set up in 1994 by two people who wanted to make a difference to the lives of people with disabilities, and CMG was founded in 1996 by the parent of a person with learning disabilities and autism.
Our shared ethos has always been to have the people we support and their families at the heart of our organisation and at the centre of everything we do. Together we are focused on sharing and learning from the best of both legacy organisations to provide a strong foundation to offer the best possible support.
Today, our team of expert practitioners is proud to deliver high-quality support to over 2,000 people in over 350 services across England and Wales. As a joint organisation, we endeavour to be a continuing leader in best practice across the country and ensure that the people we support have every opportunity to fulfil their potential. Our goal is to drive quality across the sector and lead by example.
We have strong expertise in supporting people with particularly complex needs, including autism spectrum conditions, behaviours which may challenge, mental health conditions, profound and multiple learning disabilities and associated complex health needs.
We are delighted to announce that we are now working in partnership with the award winning charity ‘My Life My Choice’, and as part of this we have signed up to their ‘Walk it Like You Talk it’ campaign.
My Life My Choice is a user-led self-advocacy organisation whose mission is to raise the self-esteem, confidence and quality of life for people with learning disabilities by providing training, employment, volunteering and social opportunities for their members. Take a look at their website, they are doing some amazing work, and offer a wide range of exciting opportunities for the people we support www.mylifemychoice.org.uk
We are very proud to say that we have been recognised by them as a Learning Disability Inclusive Employer and you will note that we now have a new logo to publicise our commitment and celebrate Inclusive Employment!
We feel very passionately that people with learning disabilities should be positively supported into employment and have equal access to learning and development opportunities. We are dedicated to continuing to improve the employment support for people with a learning disability within our organisation, ensuring that the support is tailored to the person’s needs and we look forward to working with you and your teams over the coming months. Together we can continue to exceed expectations and make a real difference to the lives of the people we support. – less
