How does someone get hired at ACCORD HOUSING ASSOCIATION? What are the steps along the way?
Apply for the role you are interested in on our website and you will receive an email confirming your application has been submitted.
If shortlisted for interview, you will receive a telephone call from the Recruitment Team to book you in for an interview; alternatively you may receieve a self-booking interview email in which you can book your own interview time / date from those we have available. If you haven't been shortlisted for an interview, you will receive an email confirming this, if you would like specific feedback in relation to your application, please just respond to this email.
You then attend your interview and answer a series of compentancy questions (tell us about a time when....). At the majority of interviews, you will be asked to complete testing whether this be basic English and Maths or something more role specific such as a Finance spreadsheet task.
Following you're interview you will receive a telepehone call offering feedback and the outcome. If sucessful, paperwork will head to HR to be processed and an offer pack will be sent out to you. Once all your recruitment checks have been completed (references, DBS check if applicable, asylum and immigration etc.) you will be offered a start date and induction training.

I have nothing good to say about how the work enthic was, its who you know not what you know attitude, which is a disavantage. Also alot of favourtism between managers and certain staff. Communication was poor, so important informations was never passed on and then expected to know whats going on. Long hours and hard work for basic pay. Any complaints was brushed aside and not taken seriously
