Greater Anglia are a fantastic company to work for.
Always had friendly staff working on the station. Communication with head office was brilliant.
Only reason for leaving was the end of my FTC. Would work for them again if the right opportunity arose.

Manager (Current Employee) –  London, Greater London22 November 2018
If you are the son / daughter / friend of a manager then you will go far. Too many "old school" managers who are afraid of being challenged and if you do then good luck with your future, you will be side lined to something that doesn't fit you.

Mediocre managers
Manager (Current Employee) –  Tottenham Hale, Greater London7 June 2018
This is a company that promotes friends or sons/daughters of friends as favours. They do this because it then makes the "managers" look good by appointing incompetent managers below them. When these managers then go on to fail they are never sacked etc...instead they are simply moved sideways into other roles where they continue to inflict their incompetence on long suffering employees. It is a travesty that this is allowed to happen time and again and nobody does anything about it!

Conversely, under-performing managers are retained because they are dating their area manager and this too is covered up! A really terrible company to work for unless your father, mother, husband, wife girlfriend, boyfriend, etc is a manager!!!
Pros
nothing!
Cons
NEPOTISM of the highest order!

Cleaner (Current Employee) –  Cambridgeshire30 March 2018
No stress job, typical 9-5 work.
Everyday you doing heavy clean in the trains (cleaning from top to bottom in the couch). Sometimes you have to work alone and sometimes as a team. Everything easy to learn.
