10 days fully paid short term sickness (less than 8 consecutive days including weekends) leave in any rolling 12 month period. If you exceed the 10 days, only statutory sick pay is paid.

Long term sickness (more than 8 consecutive days) is paid up to a maximum number of days that is dependent on the length of service. The maximum this can go to is 26 weeks after which you get paid a decreasing percentage of your salary.
