Working in Extra Care Schemes so no travelling as all the calls are in one building. You get paid for the whole of the shift not just time spent with each client. Work alongside other care workers so help always available. Managers work on site so can help if you have a query.
Pros

Housing Officer (Former Employee) –  London, UK4 June 2017
Flexible working hours, relaxed work environment, no two days the same, good management
A2D are a good company to work for- management is particularly good.
However, I didn't have much faith in being able to develop there. It can take some time to be promoted to senior roles.
Pros
Flexible Hours, Good management
Cons
Distance between offices

Fun place to work, friendly staff.
Neighbourhood Officer (Current Employee) –  Ealing23 August 2016
A2D is a good place to work, the staff are friendly, the salary for a Neighbourhood Officer is lower than its competitors and it does feel your work load is more.

A little dated with some of their policies and procedures and there isn't any apparent room for scope or promotion. It's as though once your there your job role is your role till when you leave.
Pros
Flexible working/hours
Cons
The processes are quite outdated and aren't quite in line with their major competitors.

Apprentice Housing Assistant (Current Employee) –  Oxfordshire7 April 2016
Working at A2Dominion has been a lovely experience. It was my first job role within admin and office based, as has given me a positive outlook on this type of work environment. I'm constantly busy meaning that I can work to deadlines and keep on track of work loads. I also answer general queries on the phone which has resulted in me becoming much more confident on the phone and in person.

The management are lovely and offer varied ways to manage you, which can be beneficial if you require to be managed in a specific way in order to complete the job to the best of your ability. My co-workers are brilliant to work with and offer as much help and support as needed.
Pros
Flexi-time and benefits
Cons
Sometimes work loa can become unexpectedly high

A2Dominion - Community Investment Assistant (Current Employee) –  London, ENG19 October 2015
My typical day will consist of training residents on money management and budgeting skills.Residents with high rent arrears will receive support in resolving the arrears they have, this is done by one to one meetings, which help get to the bottom of how the arrears built up.
Pros
There are some really good managers
Cons
Not all managers are as supportive as others

Cons
long hours at time

Complaints caseworker (Former Employee) –  Ealing, London W517 April 2013
Like any casework-based job, each day produced lots of incoming and outgoing emails. The team leader set a positive and helpful tone for the team, always willing to answer questions or give specialist advice.

There would often be fundraising events involving food for a variety of charities.

Even the executive directors are very approachable. It is also undergoing a structural change into a joint venture company with housing repairs partners, so that will mean a new public profile.
Pros
great place for fundraising events, and making change happen quickly
Cons
can't think of any!
