Louis Vuitton is currently sourcing exceptional talent for the position of Menswear Supervisor for our newly opened Townhouse in the world class Selfridges department store. This is great opportunity for someone who is proven in their people management skills and is looking to develop further and elevate the customer experience in store with a view to progressing into management.

The role involves:
· Coordinating and overseeing the effective management of the shop floor from the selling ceremony through to after sales service.
· Providing the link between the sales staff and store management.
· Developing the business in collaboration with management to exceed set targets.
· Contribute to achieving and maintaining a positive team spirit and keeping the team motivated to achieve targets.
· Support the team on the shop floor in all areas of their responsibilities, providing them with coaching and guidance.
· Assist in on the spot coaching and induction of new staff and existing team members, particularly in areas of sales techniques and customer service, policies and procedures and product knowledge.
· Participate in opening and closing the store, cashing up/end of day procedures, and deputising for management when required.
· Be able to correctly operate the Retail Management System including end of day / beginning of day and return procedures.
· Independently handle customer objections in accordance with company guidelines.
· Carry out sales responsibilities in an exemplary manner.
You must hold a definite luxury retail mentality and be someone who is energised by the challenges of driving business growth, with a keen sense of ownership. You should be assertive and able to motivate people with the capacity for multi-tasking in a dynamic and demanding environment. The ability to maintain an active presence on the sales floor and shape team performance through coaching as necessary. This is a very exciting position with a chance to really contribute to the ongoing success of this new department.
· Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of retail management experience within fashion with an extremely high level of customer service skills.
· Previous experience of supervising successful and large teams, the ability to develop employees and a history of being able to drive sales.
· Exceptional interpersonal skills and a strong sense of ownership and initiative are also key for this exciting opportunity.
· Technical mastering of the different aspects of sales with an outstanding sense of customer service, sense of initiative and commercial creativity.
· Proficiency in English is essential and another language is preferred.
