A Global Financial Services business operating in the banking sector whose service centers around the FX market is recruiting for an Assistant Financial Controller.
Responsibilities will include:
Providing relevant analysis, management reports and information
Ensuring appropriate inter-company service charges operating within the Group are regularly reviewed and accounted for
Producing finance reports required by FED and other institutions
Assist group treasury with funds investment and production of accurate cash flow forecasts
Develop and ensure adherence to Financial Policies including Capital and Liquidity monitoring, Treasury, Tax and Insurance
Quarterly reporting to Audit and Finance Committee
Skills, experience and competencies required:
Ideally degree educated and professionally qualified accountant
Multi-company/currency accounting experience in financial services
Knowledge of treasury operations, cash deposits and FX hedging
Working knowledge of USGAAP and IAS
Significant team management and leadership skills
Able to get buy from varied stakeholders and drive change
This new position works alongside the FC and CFO, managing a team of 5 direct reports. This role offers an excellent opportunity to progress to Deputy CFO within a short time frame. Exceptional leadership skills/experience coupled with ability to present to and influence Senior Management (board members) is essential!
