An excellent opportunity exists for a Veterinary Surgeon to join an experienced Research and Development team in a multinational pharmaceutical company. Reporting to the Deputy Head of Veterinary Sciences, the Veterinary Surgeon will be involved on a rotational basis in all activities in the Research and Development Department.
The successful applicant will be involved in setting up and directing clinical trials as part of an innovative pharmaceutical development programme, in addition to sharing responsibility for the clinical care of a number of species, predominately cattle, at Norbrook’s clinical research facility. Other duties would include the provision of technical support to the Sales and Marketing Department, as well as dealing with customer queries.
This position offers an extremely varied workload and would suit an individual wishing to combine an exciting career in veterinary pharmaceutical research with the clinical practice of veterinary medicine.
Pre-requisites of the above position are a degree registerable with the RCVS and experience in farm animal/mixed veterinary practice.
