A vital member of the team, and the manager's number two, you'll help make sure that your customers get great products and swift, friendly service, that the team is happy, motivated and productive, and that sales and profitability of your shop just keep on rising.
You'll keep an eye on every detail. Are the sandwiches properly labelled? Have the fridges been cleaned and the temperature checked? Are there enough pasties baked for the lunch time rush? Does the elderly lady in the queue need a hand with her shopping? Is that batch of pain au chocolat baked to perfection?
It's a responsible job, where you'll be running shifts, cashing up, and leading the whole team when the Manager is out of the shop.
So you'll need some kind of supervisory experience in a customer service environment, as well as basic numeracy and computer skills. Above all, you'll have an infectious enthusiasm that will really motivate the team.
