Employment Tribunals processes claims where disputes arise during the course of employment and provides administrative support to the Judiciary.
Administrative Officers are assigned to sections to carry out a variety of general administrative duties to progress cases through the court/tribunal system or provide support to other functions within the MoJ.

Employment Tribunals processes claims where disputes arise during the course of employment and provides administrative support to the Judiciary.
Administrative Officers are assigned to sections to carry out a variety of general administrative duties to progress cases through the court/tribunal system or provide support to other functions within the MoJ.
Whilst the post holder will be allocated to a specific office base, there may be a need for flexibility to work on an ad hoc basis at other local Ministry of Justice offices.
Duties may include:
1. Data entry and registering of appeals/claims on the appropriate computer system.
2. Issue of tribunal documents to the relevant parties.
3. Filing.
4. Retrieving files for queries.
5. Photocopying and scanning documents.
6. Opening and distributing post.
7. Tracing and linking correspondence
8. Dispatching post.
9. Ordering stationery.
10. General ad hoc office duties.
11. Clerking Tribunal hearings
Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 GCSE’s, (at Grades A, B or C) and these must include English Language. Alternatively, candidates may possess an equivalent qualification e.g. NVQ, or have suitable experience within an administrative role and have experience of using Microsoft computer packages, i.e. Word, Excel & Outlook.
This is a full time/fixed term position until 30th June 2011.
