Key features of the role

The Products Client Service Group plays a critical role in helping Accenture's clients achieve high performance across a range of industry groups - Retail; Consumer Goods and Services; Life Sciences; and Automotive, Industrial, Infrastructure and Travel (AIIT). People deployed to the Products Client Service Group are responsible for managing client relationships while providing real industry insight and experience. Through this, the successful candidate will identify opportunities with our clients, and then bring the best of Accenture to bear to make them happen.
Our Products Retail team works with many of the UK's leading food, fashion and speciality Retailers on a range of change activities. Our focus is on helping them meet the challenges of fast-changing markets and finding ways to deliver competitive advantage. We help clients to maximise technology, effectively manage supply chain, store and buying & Merchandising efficiency and provide value-added services to their customers.
Our Retail Industry Group is growing rapidly and expanding into a broader range of client areas and functional requirements.

We are looking to recruit an individual with proven experience (four years plus) in the customer insight and Retail customer relationship management areas. The successful candidate will have worked within a Retailer or management consultancy in this area and have the following expertise:
  • Understanding of the key Retail processes
  • Deep insight into Retail CRM
  • Proven capability in multi-channel Retail environments
  • Experience in successful multi-discipline teams

Project and stakeholder management

Functional requirements analysis and solutioning
Vendor/ Partner analysis and selection
IT Implementation life-cycle planning

Opportunity Development

Opportunity identification and qualification
Value creation - leverage Accenture's assets and capabilities to develop compelling business propositions that meet both client and Accenture's company's commercial requirements
Proven opportunity development and delivery track record in the industry

What other qualifications or skills do I need?

Excellent degree results or equivalent
Strong leadership skills - setting direction, team leadership
Strong problem-solving, statistical and analytical skills
Proven training and coaching abilities
Your base location will be London, although most of our consultants work on lengthy client engagements within the UK and Ireland. Therefore you must be willing to work away from home Monday to Friday as required.
