This leading supplier of Automotive technology are looking for a C/C++ Embedded Software Engineer x2 for their Coventry site. You should have Automotive Sector experience in the application area. Alternatively, you may come from an Aerospace, Defence or Medical devices environment used to working to rigorous Quality processes and Standards / Methodologies.
As a C/C++ Software Design Engineer / Embedded Software Engineer you will design, write, modify and validate software for EMS ECU, improve the software design process, communicate with system / software engineers in the UK, Japan and Sweden to define the specification and ensure the quality. You will support EMS / ECU related problem / issues analysis and resolution.
Successful candidates will have an Honours Degree in Engineering including strong electronics, electrical and software engineering elements. You will have strong MS Office skills and solid C or C/C++ Software Development experience ideally under a RTOS / Embedded systems.
It would be desirable if you have a working knowledge of Automotive systems and their components, specifically Engine Management Systems (EMS), Matlab, Simulink, Embedded software design / testing experience, CANbus, CANalyzer, MOST, CAN/Vector, TCP/IP and UML.
