We are looking to recruit a friendly and enthusiastic Senior Staff Nurse with recent acute experience and excellent communication skills to work on the Acute Medical Unit. (AMU).
The Acute Medical Unit is a very busy dynamic environment assessing and treating a wide variety of patients with diverse acute conditions 24 hours day. You will be joining a committed team who are constantly striving to improve the acute care experience for all patients and their relatives. We work closely with all teams associated with emergency admissions and admission avoidance. You will be expected to possess a sound clinical knowledge base within acute care.
We have recently opened an Ambulatory Care Unit that has enhanced our patients experience and continues to develop, as part of your role you would be expected to rotate into this area.
We are looking for someone that is forward thinking, well organized with a positive attitude towards flexibility and change. We work on a system of internal rotation of shifts including weekends and night duty
