Corporate Account Handler, Bristol
Opportunities like this do not come around very often as we are finding that many of our broker partners are not looking at growing their teams at present. We are seeking applicants who have experience of providing broking support to large corporate companies for an excellent opportunity at our client’s flagship office in Bristol.
Our client is a highly regarded international broker with an excellent reputation for providing exceptional service for very often complex and large risks. You will join their existing team in, acting as support to Account Executives and liaising with clients and insurers.
This isn’t just any Account Handling job, it will be working within a specialist team, involving the day to day handling of corporate commercial insurance programmes including new business, existing policy maintenance, renewal broking and mid term adjustments.
Duties will include writing reports, register preparation and visiting clients with Executives, negotiating with Underwriters on new business and renewal terms as well as attending surveys and the like and providing a full advice service on a regular basis.
You will also check all documentation before issue to clients and discuss alterations to policies and amendments with the client.
Skills and Experience
Ideally you will have experience of handling commercial insurances for large corporate businesses, where premiums are in excess of £150,000 GWP. Ideally with some progress towards the ACII qualification, you will have a sound technical knowledge of a range of commercial classes of business including stand alone property / casualty, commercial combined and motor fleet.
The role also requires the ability to work well within a team environment and a flexible approach to work.
