We are looking to recruit an administrator to share the responsibility of supporting the work of the Adoption and Permanence Panel and the agency as they find adoptive families for children.
Brighton and Hove Council have built a strong reputation for its work in recruiting, assessing and finding families for children who need adoption. A key part of this aspect of the work of the council is the operation of the Adoption and Permanence Panel.
We are now looking to recruit an administrator to share the responsibility of supporting the work of the Panel and the agency as they find adoptive families for children. The successful applicant will be able confidently to make use of their well developed skills in producing minutes of complex and lengthy meetings to a high standard.
You will be responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks in support of the Panel process; you will need an eye for detail and a capacity to work flexibly and supportively with your social work colleagues and Panel Members.
You will need to have a creative and solution focussed approach to aspects of your work, whilst also being able to perform the more routine aspects of the role reliably and consistently. You will work alongside two other Panel Administrators and will need to enjoy working in a small mutually supportive team.
Contract: Permanent; Part Time, 18.5 hours to be worked across at least two and half days including;
Monday or Tuesday
All Day Wednesday
Thursday or Friday
