Support Workers
Locations: Dunbar, North Berwick, Haddington, Tranent, Prestonpans, Musselburgh. Permanent - full & part time (30 & 39 hours)
You will ideally have experience of supporting someone in their own home and into community based activities. The person you support may be someone with mobility problems so the job may involve working with wheelchairs, hoists etc. You must be able to deliver a high standard of care and support in a way that assists the person to achieve a meaningful and rewarding lifestyle. You must be perpared to work shifts including evenings, weekends and sleepovers. An excellent attendance record in previous employments/school is essential. Disclosure Scotland Checks will be initiated if successful at interview. female/Male - Exemption under 7(2) (E) of Sex Discrimination Act 1975 will apply to some posts.
