You will be required to project manage the operational aspects of NPI "New Product Introduction" of our new products and enhancements from concept through design to manufacture, the successful candidate will be working with our global R&D teams and have the full benefit of global manufacturing sites.
Main responsibilities:
1.Project Manage effectively all NPI aspects of assigned projects in order to achieve fully the project requirements
2.Co-ordinate the activities of manufacturing systems, test solutions, procurement and production master data departments.
3.Assess track and report project costs.
4.Assist when requested or as required on tasks outside of the current job role, to achieve 'critical' departmental targets
5.Produce New Product Development plans and scheduling
6.Report Monthly on the status of assigned products
The person: Educational Requirements:
HNC/HND level qualification in Engineering or equivalent experience
Technical Knowledge/Experience
Experience in Project Engineering, Project Management and New Product Introduction NPI, New Product Development,
Specific Knowledge
1.In-depth knowledge of the design for manufacture methodology
2.Knowledge of Product Life Cycle Management & Six Sigma
3.Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and programmes
4.Knowledge of the product creation and Industrialisation process
5.In-depth understanding of product quality requirements
