We are a popular independent restaurant located close to Haywards Heath serving great British cuisine with the occasional Asian twist. Our menu is prepared from scratch using the finest locally sourced seasonal produce. All of our ingredients are fresh; freezers are strictly for deserts only! Our approach may take more time and effort but we believe the end result makes it all worthwhile.
We are looking for a Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will be required to work at all sections within the kitchen with the aim of rapid progression to Sous Chef level. This position would ideally suit an ambitious and talented individual who is keen to take on higher levels of responsibility in a quality kitchen environment.
You should have 1-2 years previous experience in a fresh produce oriented kitchen and be able to demonstrate essential skills to a high level of competence. Most importantly, you must possess a passion for great food with the ambition and determination to progress in your chosen career.
Applicants must be professionally minded, organised and self motivated with the ability to keep a calm head under pressure. You must also be a great team worker and be willing to work hard to achieve your goals.
This is a full time position; you will be required to work flexible shifts including a mixture of day-times, evenings and weekends. You must be local, or live within a sensible commuting distance of Lindfield.
