Lucy Bristow Appointments are on the Preferred Suppliers List for the majority of the large Legal Firms in Bristol. Because of this we are always interested in speaking with or registering Legal Secretaries with previous experience of working within a variety of departments such as Real Estate, Commercial Property, Patent and Trademarks, Pensions and Employment and Personal Injury.
All positions we deal with have the following responsibilities:
Experience of working within a legal environment or a professional services background is essential for these roles. Candidates will have strong secretarial skills and good IT skills will be required, including knowledge of MS Word and a high level of audio dictation. A professional telephone manner and excellent client care skills along with a flexible approach and the ability to prioritise and organise their own workload.
- Diary management and organising travel arrangements
- Audio and Copy typing
- Providing cover in other departments as and when required
- Contacting clients and intermediaries to assist fee earners within the company
- Opening/closing files
- General administration duties as and when required: filing, archiving and email monitoring
Permanent and fixed term contracts are often available.
