The Global Emerging Markets (GEM) Business trades and structures Interest Rate, FX, Credit and Equity products across the EMEA and Latin American Emerging Markets.

As a result of this continued pace of expansion and growth the Middle Office needs to continue to adapt and provide innovative solutions to business problems and maintain a strong control framework across the Region.
The Strategic growth project manager will report to the London GEM operations manager and will be responsible for the delivery of multi layered business growth programmes. These will in majority be in the form of official nbia programmes but additionally there will be requests to run lighter due diligence programmes to effectively full nbia standard. In this role, collaboration is expected across a wide group of diverse functions to deliver against key business objectives. The GEM business is multi layered and constantly evolving and as such there is always a complex set of in-flight tactical/strategic programmes that require operations oversight for successful delivery. Key expectations will be to proactively manage a number of in-flight initiatives, identify potential issues, drive consistency of function/process across EM operations and successfully own adhoc mgt requests which will be both diverse & complex in nature

Business and Subject Matter Knowledge
Experience in Cash and/or Derivatives would be desirable
An interest or appreciation of Emerging Markets and how they operate
Strong financial markets product knowledge and understanding of the transaction life cycle in one or more of the key business areas above
Subject matter expertise in operational risk and controls; working knowledge of relevant regulations and standard industry processes
Experience and advanced use of Microsoft Excel (in particular understanding of Macros) and Access
Masters, ACA or CFA certification preferred
