This position is based in Cannock. The Closing date is 9th August 2012.

To provide general administrative and clerical support to the Fleet Shared Services team .

To help with the ordering of cars and fuel cards
To update and maintain the tranman database
To receive and respond to telephone enquiries and queries from customers
To update, maintain and use IT systems, including in-house packages
To assist in the filing of fleet data data
Take notes/minutes of formal meetings
Ordering supplies and controlling stock
Opening and distributing post, and controlling outgoing post
General office duties e.g. photocopying, faxing, filing, greeting visitors
To perform any other duties reasonably requested by management

GCSEs or equivalent in English, Maths essential
GCSE in relevant subject e.g. IT, Business Studies desirable
Willingness to undertake and complete an NVQ in Business Administration
Self-motivation
Good problem solving ability
Relevant hobbies and work experience desirable e.g. leisure PC use, work experience in an office environment
Excellent organisational, communication and telephone skills
Strong IT skills including ability to use MS Office
Being able to work in a team and on own initiative
Ability to interact effectively and confidently with operational staff and management
Good standard of written English

Enthusiastic and eager to learn
Keen to work hard and achieve
Happy working in a team environment
Flexible and adaptable
Must be willing to travel to college and make overnight stays if required
