Well established US law firm with both UK and US practices in London looking to bring in an additional tax partner as a result of continued growth in both the tax, corporate and finance groups of the firm.
The firm has a well connected tax groups as far as global firms fare and as such you would be involved in the usual UK structuring but also cross-border transactions on the Continent, CIS, Middle East and the Americas.
No following is required per se but strong client relationships and a good sense of how tax interacts within firms internally and also ideas in terms of going to market externally.
This firm are well established in their UK and US tax offerings and as such the role is to strengthen this position as much as build upon.
Buy-in from the wider UK partnership has been covered as has buy-in from the global tax department.
Culturally the firm remains at the top of their market and sector focus coupled with a unassuming and unaggressive culture.
Exciting, refreshing platform suitable for either a senior associate on partner track or an existing partner at a UK or US firm in London.
UK tax experience is a must.
