We are currently looking for an IT Project Manager to join our Applications, Development and Projects (AD&P) organisation in the UK. AD&P comprises teams of project specialists (business analysts, project managers, change managers, functional specialists, architects and external resources) who provide high quality project delivery for all Downstream classes of business and functions. The primary responsibility of the Project Manager will be to manage IT projects ranging in size ($100K - $10M) and complexity across all stages of the project life-cycle. The project manager will be expected to be deliver projects on time, within the approved budget, and within the agreed upon scope; ensuring solutions meet business requirements and are compliant with Architecture, Risk Management and Supportability standards. You’ll be expected to: · Be accountable for the end to end process for each project deliverable, including global deployments in a virtual environment. · Identify and ensure that the appropriate resources are acquired for each project. · Manage project risk in a systematic way including escalation of issues/road blocks to ensure resolution. · Follow change control procedures, gaining agreement for revisions to the project from it’s sponsors.
As an IT Project Manager you’ll have a proven track record of successfully managing and delivering global IT projects on-time, within budget and scope, with end-to-end accountability. Ideally you’ll be PMI certified with some awareness of the SAP environment and previous experience of working in a Downstream environment. You’ll be an excellent communicator, able to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, leaders as well as team members. Able to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment, you’ll take a structured and effective approach to manage your own workload and successfully lead your team to achieve results.
