SENCo required for this small village school to coordinate the schools provision for special needs and liaise with external agencies.

This post is a member of the leadership team.

This friendly village school has 4 classes and a small percentage of special needs children. Provision for these is made through the use of teaching assistants.

An experienced teacher is needed to monitor the effectiveness of this work, provide advice or appropriate interventions and carry out testing and screening as required.

The post holder will need to liaise with the senior leadership team and the SEN Governor.

The post is temporary for term 6.

The school is willing to consider buying in services from another school if appropriate.

Visits to the school are warmly welcomed.

Application information Hours of work: 4 hours per week
Working pattern: Part-time
(As the position is part-time, the above salary will be pro rata)
