Advantage Healthcare needs experienced Support Worker to work with our clients within thier own home. Our client has suffered a brain injury and experience within this area would be beneficial.
You will be required to work within the clients own home to ensure the client is fully supported in all aspects of their daily living including showering, cooking and light domestic duties. You will also be required to support with activities and hobbies.
There are full and part time positions available, various days evenings and weekends.
To provide a safe home environment and ensure that the client is made aware of risk
Encourage and support client with rehabilitation plan
Support client to interact socially in a socially acceptable manner
Prompt toilet habits
Client has short term memory loss and has no motivation so it is important for staff to motivate him
Challenging behaviour but not aggressive just playful
Care and support with day to day living, encouraging independence and self management
To be successful you must be able to supply references that cover recent skills and experience from a similar role.
