Operations Manager

Up to �55k basic + company car / �4200 car allowance + 25 days holiday + 6% contributary pension scheme + 3x death in service scheme + private medical Insurance


They are looking for Operations Managers to manage their Environmental Services divisons across the UK, where you will have full responsibilty and accountability for the overall performance of:

Site Safety performance within your region.

Site profitability within your region.

Full P&L for a number of heavy industrial sites

Site compliance with company procedures within your region.

Service delivery on sites within your region.


Within your region you will provide support and effective leadership to your operations managers and site managers by promoting the highest standard of business practice, the company culture, values and ethics through your own behaviour.

Formulation and delivery of budgets and forecasts throughout the year.

Ensuring that suitable levels of operational, commercial and safety support are made available to those sites in need.

Coordinate monthly Managers meetings to ensure focus among the site managers on company objectives.

Act as the main coordinator of commercial information for your team of site managers ensuring that the reporting needs of the Divisional Director are met.

Ensure that Objectives and Processes are developed and followed at all levels of your business unit to ensure the overall company objectives are achieved.

Work closely with the Divisional Director and Business Development team to grow the business within your region.

Ensure that sufficient competent resources are employed to meet the business needs and that people develop individually and as a team in order to achieve their full potential


Support the Site Managers within the region, providing operational, commercial and pastoral support when effective implementation and communication of Management systems and processes throughout the region, particularly in respect to Health and Safety, Quality and Environment.

Assist in the monthly production of the Cost Revenue Reports for submission to the Divisional Director.

To negotiate contract renewals and create sustainable organic growth within your contracts
