My client is one of the world's leading manufacturers of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, with sites throughout the UK and a global client base. Due to an internal restructure, they are currently looking to appoint an Engineering Manager in their canning team to operate from their busy site in Cheshire.
Candidates will have extensive experience of technical engineering, fully conversant engineering methodology (root cause analysis, LEAN principles, 6Sigma techniques) and a well developed understanding of automated control systems preferably Siemens based.
The successful candidate will also be able to demonstrate excellent people management skills, and be able to facilitate problem solving with teams of engineers. You will be able to deliver against production and engineering KPI targets and also be IT literate, with a working knowledge of SAP including maintenance and purchasing modules.
