Placement and Summer Internships

With brands that reach over 1 billion people in more than 130 countries every year, L’Oréal’s global scope is perfectly suited to interns, placement students and graduates pursuing exciting, international business careers.

Each year we offer up to 90 students from all different degree disciplines, the opportunity to join one of our internship schemes. Following a comprehensive company induction, interns will be given responsibility from day one.

Interns could find themselves masterminding a launch strategy for one of its world renowned brands, such as Diesel or Armani, or negotiating with buyers at Britain’s largest retailers. They could be tackling the logistical challenges presented by a company that produces over 4.5 billion products annually, or to managing part of L’Oréal’s €20.3 billion revenue.

Interns benefit from a host of excellent benefits, including healthcare, sports
teams and fantastic social events. Interns are also supported by a dedicated HR team throughout their time in the organisation.

Completing an internship or placement year with L’Oréal is an excellent stepping stone onto the Management Trainee Scheme.

Intern Testimonies

“I was given responsibility from day one, coordinating Christmas gift sets to market and attending a PR event for two of our brands, Shu Uemura and Kiehl’s”
James Wilkinson, Marketing Summer Intern, University of Nottingham

“From day one everyone was very welcoming and eager to help whenever it was needed. Having my own Supply Chain project for the summer has allowed me to work on a real brand with real customers, therefore having a real impact on the business”
Sam Agar, Supply Chain Summer Intern, University of Warwick

“Over the course of my summer internship I worked with the Garnier Skincare Marketing team developing educational staff packs for the retail stores. This allowed me to be really creative with the design work and I took a lead in interacting with agencies. I also managed the digital marketing campaign for a new product launch”
Matt Madden, Marketing Summer Intern, University of Nottingham
