Supervise a team of Customer Service Administrators to ensure a high standard of customer service at all times for all customers in a consistent manner in line with all company procedures.
Handling incoming collection requests from internal and external customers and recording such enquiries on Veolia's own IT systems and subsequently dealing/processing these enquiries as per the business strategy.
Effective handling of all other customer correspondence including the handling of complaints and cancellations and recording details of such correspondence on Veolia IT systems.
To liaise with customers, operations and technical department to ensure the smooth transfer of information to enable collection of waste from customers is carried out within their requirements.
To liaise with customers, operations, treatment plants, health & safety and technical department to ensure that all collections are carried out in accordance with internal and external SHEQ procedures.
To work closely with other departments to ensure that the team enter the necessary information within WIMS to ensure the efficient transfer of information through the sales order process from collection request to invoice.
To liaise with credit control in ensuring that customers have an approved credit account with Veolia prior to collections taking place.
As required to compile business activity reports for both new and existing business on a monthly basis as well as other KPI's.
Ensure compliance with Company QHAS procedures as well as actively take part in all SHEQ and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
Ensure that all collection requests are entered onto Salesforce and that the Customer Service team manage and maintain all requests on Salesforce.
Good standard of general education essential
GSCE Science, Mathematics and English preferable
Confident User of Microsoft Packages essential
Further Management Certificates (eg ILM) preferable
Proven office supervisory experience essential
Computer literate and ability to quickly learn in-house packages essential
Knowledge and understanding of the importance of the sales function within a business essential
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills essential
Strong negotiation skills essential
Being able to work in a fast passed environment essential
Familiarity with Veolia quality systems preferable
Familiarity with Veolia databases, WIMS/Sage/Salesforce preferable
