Due to their on-going success my client is looking for an energetic individual to join its engineering team.
Each of our projects is unique with the solution being tailored to the customer's requirement.
We are looking for individuals who can understand how to take an idea from concept to finished manufactured product.
Working with the project team your role will be to
Understand the customers requirement
Help design a solution from whole systems to individual piece parts
Define materials, specify tolerances, understand system constraints
Interface with the manufacturing team to produce a finished product.
Oversee the assembly and testing of the final product
Required skills
Degree (or equivalent experience) in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
Understanding of tolerances
Understanding of material selection
Experience in AutoCad / Inventor
Experience in food packaging or processing an advantage
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mechanical design
