Sheridan Maine is working with one of the leading South West regional Chartered Accountancy Practices to recruit an outstanding Audit Director / salaried Partner (depending on the right person`s existing level) with aspirations to progress to equity Partner.

Our client operates across the South West in multi-disciplinary and specialist teams in areas such as Audit Assurance and Accounts, corporate finance, business recovery and insolvency, TAX and VAT. Sector expertise includes Charities, Healthcare, Education and Tourism and Leisure.

Our client is experiencing increased growth both organically and through acquisition as a result of a strong SME led client base. This profitable growth has led to investment in this role and offers an exciting opportunity for an ambitious professional to take that next step in their career.

The ideal candidate will currently be a Director or in Senior Management with a mid tier to Top 10 practice specialising in Audit and Corporate Services. The role of Audit Director / Partner includes the following responsibilities:

Develop and retain a client portfolio, utilising your outgoing and friendly demeanour and years of experience in the auditing field to be the face of this growing practice, attending business development and retention meetings, seminars and conferences.
Managing the Audit Department and contribute to the overall management of the Practice.
Engaging with the Audit department generally meeting with clients and allocating workloads accordingly, and overseeing the timely delivery of work, ensuring no significant issues have occurred during the audit and attending final exit meetings.
