Job Profile : The Business Analyst will provide research/analytic support to the Domestic and International Listings teams across multiple geographies. NYSE Euronext operates the largest cash equities market in the world, with listing platforms in Europe and the US. The Listings team has a key role in marketing to potential issuers, investors and intermediaries (bankers, lawyers, accountants and other advisors), in order to attract listings to NYSE Euronext markets. Key accountabilities -Proactively provide analyst and technical support for business development initiatives; -Conduct research, covering industry & market trends, competitor analysis, regulatory developments, IPO monitoring; -Develop and produce presentations and pitch books for the international sales and client coverage teams; -Gather information from a variety of internal and external sources; -Analyse, interpret and present company, sector and market data; -Provide general account management support; -Assist in enhancing, integrating and maintaining data across the Listings group; -Assist in the coordination and execution of market events; -Assist in the maintenance of the CRM database; -Work with other Business Analysts to insure consistent and accurate information.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required -Extensive knowledge and experience in capital markets Europe and US, including Emerging Markets; -Minimum graduate level education in a finance-related discipline or equivalent; -Strong understanding and experience in economics; financial transaction analysis and strategy; -Fluency in English (spoken and written) required, other language/s beneficial; -Ability to establish, develop and foster relationships within the team and across the Group; -High degree of computer literacy: advanced Excel and PowerPoint; -Experience in the use of Dealogics, Thomson, Reuters, Factset and Bloomberg; -Ability to demonstrate a positive attitude at all times; -Ability to work independently using one’s own initiative; -Well developed written and oral presentation skills; -A capacity to quickly assimilate new technical information; -A good team player with strong inter-personal skills; -Experience of cross-border working would be beneficial.
