Role: Senior HR Officer

Salary: £15.00 to £18.00 Hourly
Our client, a specialist Children's Charity based in Central London is currently looking to recruit a Senior HR Officer on an interim basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional, looking for a challenging and dynamic role, to work within the charity sector.
The key purpose of this role is to assist the Human Resources Manager in providing a generalist HR service across the charity. The successful Senior HR Officer will be liaising with hiring managers providing advice and support in relation to conditions of service and employment legislation, disciplinary matters, grievance, recruitment and selection, restructuring of services, performance management and redundancy planning.
The key duties will involve:
Developing, implementing and maintaining HR policies and procedures to ensure the consistent management of staff throughout the organisation
Providing advice and guidance on employee relations cases, ensuring that these are well managed
Attending and minuting disciplinary, grievance and other investigatory meetings and assisting in the administration of the investigation process as required
The successful HR Officer will need to have the following experience:
Previously worked for a charitable organisation
Experience of working in HR at both strategic and operational levels
Experience of developing and implementing employment policies and procedures
Experience of working in a pressurised environment
The HR Manager has also requested that all applicants are CIPD Qualified.
