My client is one of the UK`s leading independent and award winning Contract Catering companies. An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Chef Manager within a prestigious education establishment.
What is it all About...
As Assistant Chef Manager, you will assist the Chef Manager with the smooth running of a busy catering operation. You will assist with the management and development of a small team and cover in the absence of the Chef Manager. You will demonstrate excellent cheffing skills, be able to work on your own initiative aswell as part of a team and be able to work under pressure.
What`s Expected...
The successful candidate will have previous Head Chef experience of within a busy restaurant or high end contract catering - quality food is key for this role. You will have a genuine passion for preparing fresh food to a high standard. You will have strong leadership skills, a ``can do`` attitude, be very customer focused and be able to lead a team and delegate duties.

The Reward...
You will be required to work 6 days a week, term time only - 34 weeks of the year. In return my client if offering a salary of £22-24k per annum.
