An opportunity has arisen for an Emergency Department Support Assistant. The role includes

Maintain all Emergency Department storage areas are in a clean and tidy condition
  • To monitor, receive and unpack stock into allocated areas
  • To ensure all necessary documentation is maintained
  • Equipment is decontaminated/calibrated and ready for use
  • To contribute to the smooth running of Emergency Department.
The Emergency Department at BSUH offers 24 hours emergency care; facilities include an Emergency Nurse Practitioner service, resuscitation / majors, minors, Clinical Decision Unit and Short Stay ward.

We are a friendly and supportive team, offering the highest standard of emergency care.

The post will suit a dynamic and energetic individual able to work as part of a team.

The post holder will be offered education, mandatory training and staff development within a positive learning environment. The department has links directly to Brighton and Sussex University enabling access to further education.
