Role Purpose:
To provide support to all members of staff throughout the hospital ensuring patients and visitors are offered every help and courtesy.
Core Responsibilities:
Ensure regular distribution and collections of internal/external mail and newspapers.
Provide assistance for and escort patients when required.
Collect and discard all rubbish from all areas of the hospital promptly.
Collection of soiled linen from all areas of the hospital and distribution of clean linen to designated areas.
Checking of medical gas bank and changing of gas bottles.
Maintenance duties within the hospital and grounds and recording of such.
Making regular security/fire checks and recording daily.
Key Performance Indicators:
Tasks completed efficiently and in a timely manner.
High patient satisfaction level from patient questionnaire feedback.
