Job Summary
An excellent opportunity has arisen for two Skilled Operators (Fitters) to join SPX Flow Technology. As part of a small team, the Skilled Operators (Fitters) have responsibility for all activities associated with final product build and test at GD Engineering. Product training will be provided.
Responsibilities
Responsibility for maintaining quality throughout the manufacturing process.
To ensure that all aspects of manufacturing, including assembly and testing,are efficiently controlled and successfully completed in the required timescales, in order to satisfy customer and company requirements.
Assist with factory maintenance programmes and maintain a clean, efficient and tidy work area.
Control production hours / works recoveries and manage non-productive time to avoid unnecessary cost to the business.
When reasonably requested you will be required to travel within UK, overseas and offshore installations on behalf of GD to perform service/maintenance contracts.
Skills & Experience
Strong industrial experience within a similar role and/or time served apprentice.
Can-do attitude and willingness to learn
