IT Strategy and Transformation PPM Consultants
IT Strategy and Transformation professionals focus on identifying and implementing high performance business value creation and transformation opportunities by delivering independent consulting services focused on the C-suite.
We have opportunities for IT Strategy and Transformation professionals with a broad range of experiences, combined with specific skills around Project & Portfolio Management (PPM) processes and tools, including (but not limited to) the following:
Value Creation - Positioning PPM to add strategic value to the enterprise - both in terms of business and IT applications
PPM Implementation - Direct experience in the end-to-end implementation of PPM solutions at scale with demonstrable success for the enterprise - covering solution strategy and architecture, requirements definition, technical design, configuration, business change, benefits realization, PPM as part of an overall IT-for-IT architecture
PPM Product Know-how - recent exposure to leading PPM software products, in particular CA Clarity PPM, HP PPM, Planview, Microsoft Project Server, SAP RPM
PPM Process Know-how - experience in delivering PPM process transformation around Portfolio Management, Demand Planning, Resource Supply/Demand Management, Resource Scheduling, Delivery Management, Project Portfolio and Divisional PMO
Control Processes - IT Cost Transparency, IT Governance, IT Financial Management, IT Funding and Charging
Structure - IT Organisational design; IT Operating Model
Candidates should be able to demonstrate a knowledge of Strategy offerings, as well as deep skills in C-level communications (at senior levels), Advanced Value Analysis and Insight Development, Industry/Business Assessment and Insight Development, Strategy Development, High Performance Business Architecture & Journey Planning.
Additionally you will:
Be Fluent in the issues associated with managing IT in large, complex organizations
Be Equally comfortable in the role of business or IT Strategist; able to assess rapidly the IT implications of business strategy and the business implications of IT strategy
Demonstrate an entrepreneurial approach and have a track record of leading multi-disciplinary teams to shape, sell and implement programmes which achieve the above objectives
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients at all levels
Have the personal and professional attributes necessary to convince senior executives to take bold actions, and coach such executives through major change programmes
Possess the intellectual capacity and relevant experience to develop creative, breakthrough approaches and solutions to complex problems
Have first class communication, negotiation, persuasion and group facilitation skills
Demonstrate proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
Demonstrate a proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
Desire to work in an information systems environment
Demonstrate a strong grounding in technology and enterprise architecture concepts through practical experience and possibly via exposure to industry frameworks (e.g. TOGAF)
Embody excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
All candidates must be willing to be London, Manchester or Edinburgh based, but offer full mobility (i.e. prepared to work away from home Monday to Friday as required).
