An opportunity has become available for a Technical Project Manager to work within one of the work streams responsible for delivery of the IT capabilities required to support a new solution.
The focus of this role is to manage the stream of work responsible for the design, development, testing and implementation of the network infrastructure additions/changes required to support the systems delivery. This will require working with internal VE departments, onshore and offshore testing resources, and 3rd party suppliers.
Creating an overall project schedule, resource plan and budget for the Networks project stream covering all release points Managing the delivery of the project to time, budget and quality, reporting into the Visa IT Platform Project Manager Maintaining full accountability for plans and finances (actual and forecast) Acquiring and utilising the necessary resources and skills to deliver the project deliverables Ensuring that proposed solutions are fit for purpose and will deliver the expected capability and are fully operable and supportable in the processing environment Ensuring the dependencies on other streams/external inputs are clearly understood and managed Liaising with 3rd parties to understand plans, approaches, etc. Managing key stakeholders Key Skills & Experience:
PRINCE2 Practitioner (or equivalent) accredited Evidence of successful delivery of medium to large scale projects to a value of ?2-5m Experience of managing and delivering complex technical solutions, involving third party suppliers Experience of working within a Matrix organization Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal Strong issue and risk management skills Delivery focused Desirable:
Experience of delivering projects within both the Financial Services and payments areas
