HP Business Critical Server (BCS) Category Manager
Working for HP, the largest IT company in the world, this is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated, proactive individual to contribute to driving the continued success of the HP BCS Division within the UK&I marketplace.
Working as a member of the 'Business Unit' that has responsibility for ensuring that the revenue, margin and sales goals for HP BCS are achieved in the UK&I there is lots of scope for the successful individual to become involved and gain a good understanding of all aspects of this business.
Leading business development opportunities - As part of the BU it would be your responsibility to organise and execute a number of specific initiatives to support sales in developing new opportunities within their accounts. This would include developing, coordinating and tracking programs such a legacy refresh programs or competitive attack programs.
Product expert - As part of the role you will act as a subject matter expert within the BU to field questions from both Sales and the Channel in relation to the portfolio. This element of the role will be supported by the EMEA and WW Product Management teams.
Marketing campaign support - This element of the role involves working closely with the BCS Marketing Manager to successfully articulate / position the portfolio to support demand generation activities.
Support for and organisation of events such as customer workshops & seminars.
Sales tools & messaging - It is the BU's responsibility to deliver regular HP sales and the channel communications re promotions, product updates and competitive positioning.
