London & South East - up to £30,000 + Shift Allowance + Call out + Overtime + fully expensed company van.
The Client
My client who is a major name in the Fire alarm Industry and work mainly on rail refurbishment projects across London and the South East. They have grown from strength to strength over the last five years and have recently won a £12million pound contract to maintain all Londons 9 Major Network Rail train stations and the LUL network.
Due to this continous growth they now have several openings for talented and experienced Fire Alarm Engineers to join their Engineering team.
The Role
They are currently looking for several Fire alarm Engineers to work on a Shift Rota basis covering a mixture of Night and Day shifts working on stations such as Gatwick, Euston, Waterloo and Paddington to name a few. The role will be working either the night shift with hours ranging from 10pm - 6am and the day shift covering normal working hours. The role will have you maintaining all the fire systems in the station including all the shops and business premises in the station. The role is a mixture of install, commissioning and maintenance on a planned preventative basis and reactive basis. There is Call out duties involved and the company operate a rapid response service as part of their service agreement with Network Rail.
The Individual
The ideal Fire Alarm Engineer will hold the relevant Fire Alarm qualifications such as the F.I.A units or equivalent and also have a 5 year solid work background within the Fire and Security industry. Candidates with experience on working on train station refurbishment will be seriously considered. Must ideally a clean license and candidates with over 6 points will not be consider for this role.
