Responsible for managing one or more large programs in the Global Suppliers, Products and Technology (GSPT) portfolio, from initial concept through user acceptance testing and including technology infrastructure deployment. Programs are assigned based on applicability of the Program Manager’s specific hard and soft skills, but in general are high in visibility and carry high risk/reward profiles.
Main responsibilities
Manages large, complex programs with high software/hardware content:
Liaises appropriately with stakeholders: executive owner, business owner, project team
Enhances working relationships across the enterprise to support program initiatives
Defines resources and schedule for program implementation
Creates strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning
Plans and schedules program deliverables, goals, milestones and costs
Performs program reporting, including measurement of performance vs. plan
Efficiently identifies and resolves program issues, including timely escalation when necessary · designs and maintains program documentation
Participates in development of program and project management standards and governing policies for the GSPT organization
