Willingdon Community School is an 11-16, Media and Visual Arts Specialist comprehensive school with Leading Edge and High Performing School status. It is a highly regarded, successful and oversubscribed school (n.o.r. 986) which serves a suburban/rural area on the edge of Eastbourne. Examination results at GCSE are high with the school consistently achieving significant Value Added. In 2013 77% of students achieved 5 or more passes at grades A-C including English and maths, 94% of all students achieved 5 or more passes at A*-C and 98% of all students achieved 5 or more at A* – G. In addition 33% of all results were at A*/A grades with 54% of students achieving 3 or more A/A grades.
Hours of work: 37 hours.
