Key responsibilities will include:
Direct & Digital Data Production
Lead in the delivery of the data elements of Retail Customers direct and digital marketing programme. Including:
Working with Retail Customers Data Manager and the Marketing and Communications Integration group to translate high level marketing briefs into accurate and statistically robust Direct and Digital marketing selections; using NS&Is Campaign Management software and other Business Intelligence tools.
Ensuring the implemented campaign design, testing and supporting data ensures NS&I can evaluate the success of their marketing spend (evaluation analysis is completed by the Business Insight Team).
Working closely with agencies that handle NS&Is data (mailing fulfilment houses, email service providers, data warehouse support teams and data processing bureaux) to ensure they handle, store and use NS&Is data to our specification and within our data security guidelines.
Applying NS&Is direct marketing exclusions to ensure compliance with regulatory and professional marketing bodies including the DMA and DPA.
Providing support to investigate issues originating from the use of customer data within NS&Is direct and digital marketing, such as addressing complaints and data corruption issues.
Running high level reporting, analysis and scorecard metrics for Retail Customers direct and digital marketing activity.
E Relationship Management
Assist Retail Customers Data Manager in the development and maintenance of NS&Is email database, in order to maximise the volume of opted in email addresses, and to enhance the method of targeting these customers with digital marketing.
Assist Retail Customers Data Manager in testing and executing e-contact strategies and digital marketing campaigns designed to 1) add value to the customer experience (with elements of personalisation), and 2) increase sales, retention and cross holding rates.
Support the Data Manager in developing email marketing briefs to develop with agency and direct marketing teams as required.
Execute email marketing campaigns as required.
Degree educated, preferably with a data, testing, mathematical or statistical element to their degree (i.e. BSc)
