To plan, monitor and report on progress within a PFI street lighting contract. This role is will be required in September.
Principle Duties & Accountabilities
Ensure that accurate, complete and agreed contract programmes are in place on all allocated contracts.
Develop short and medium term target programmes from the contract programme to economic advantage.
Monitor progress of works against the contract, short, medium and term programmes.
Assist the contract management team to manage the project to best advantage.
Provide support to the contract production staff by providing information required schedules, method statements and similar planning reports.
Participate in the development of specific output database information for company use.
Prepare tender programmes and other supporting documents for new bids.
Produce sub contract programmes and schedules for order and monitoring purposes.
Assist in the pro-active resolution of site problems
Carry out any other duties appropriate for this post.
HND/HNC in construction related subject / Degree in relevant subject
Previous experience working in a planning environment
Experience within the engineering and utilities industries
Applying construction management techniques to projects in the safety critical environment
Preparing safety method statements to comply with current legislation
Experience of Using Primavera P3 and management software applicable to construction
