We have 4 fixed term positions for either 24, 32 or 40 hours a week from w/c 9th Sept until 21st October 2013.
To be successful you will need to have experience of working in a busy, fast-paced retail environment. Our shops sell a range of goods, including clothing, ceramics, jewellery, children’s’ books and a superb selection of art books so you will need to enjoy working with a diverse customer base.
A strong work ethic and bags of enthusiasm are a must as this is both a physically and mentally demanding position.
If you are passionate about providing exceptional customer service and are approachable and polite when dealing with individuals even when you are under pressure, then you are just what we are looking for.
A keen problem solver, with a proactive approach who is capable of multi-tasking and prioritising their workload effectively will excel in this role. For the right person there is always the chance of the role developing into something longer term.
You must be flexible and prepared to help out other members of your team when needed.
The role involves working weekends and late shifts on a rota basis.
Experience with a computerised till and the ability to handle money confidently and accurately is also a requirement.
